Horror 101 – Episode 114: The Exorcist

Somewhere between science and superstition, there is another world. The world of darkness.

Nood’s birthday is coming up at the beginning of October so for part of her birthday the crew has agreed to focus on her favourite horror film. This film has been relentlessly studied and analyzed for nearly 50 years. It was a commercial success at its 1973 debut and even now remains one of the most controversial films ever released. Many people were unprepared for the brutal and raw depiction of blasphemy and evil that this film contained. It was a game changer and we hope you’ll enjoy as we celebrate the immortal power of William Friedkin’s The Exorcist.
