Welcome to Horror 101 Episode 36 where the crew envelope themselves with the horror of Chuck Russel’s 1988 remake of Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr.’s ’58 classic, The Blob. Co-written by The Walking Dead’s Frank Darabont, The Blob is an excellent schlock B-horror monster madness film with incredibly graphic tactile effects mixed with laughable gags and nods to the time of it’s predecessor. All this packaged in a script that is much smarter than a movie called “The Blob” should ever be. We’ll highlight the gags, the characters and just how horrible a death The Blob has in store for these people. Join us for another 36 minutes of Horror 101 madness!
